It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Nootebos (Derish).
Predeceased by her husband Jack Nootebos, and sons Brian Nootebos and Kenneth Nootebos.
She will be remembered by sons Ron Nootebos, and Michael Nootebos (Kara and daughter Taylor), granddaughter Maren Nootebos, grandson Charlie Nootebos, her family, and many friends.
Mary was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, a dear friend, and a respected pillar in our community, best known for her generosity and dedication to the family farm Mary's Garden.
A small celebration of life for family and close friends will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers or cards, the family asks that you please consider donating to Food Banks BC, or a charity of your choice in Mary's name.
