Born in Edmonton, Alberta on November 29, 1941, Mary passed away suddenly on September 10, 2023.
Mary is survived by her sisters, Carol and Susan (Patrick); nieces Linda and Shirley; and nephews, Michael and Robert.
She will also be missed by family, friends, former colleagues, her beloved Sheltie, James, and her feline pal, Kitty.
Mary grew up in Hope, BC. Of note, during her high school years, Mary accompanied the choir and glee club on the piano and also played for services in the Anglican and Roman Catholic churches.
Mary graduated from VGH School of Nursing in 1963. Well-respected for her wealth of knowledge and clinical skills, Mary ended her career as an ICU nurse at VGH in 2003, and returned to live in Hope.
